My home, studio, and garden are yours to enjoy for the duration of your stay. We are located on the shore of Gilford Island on the inside coast of British Columbia: a seaside garden with a fabulous view.
Linger in the luxury of the airy "Iris" room before descending to the studio or relax in the cool green mood of the "Fern" room. Our yellow cedar kitchen and spacious living room with sunny porch access to the garden are the newest beautiful spaces to enjoy.
The accommodations at SeaRose Studio are relaxing and peaceful, and will contribute to the inspiring experience you will have when you visit.

Two beautiful rooms are available for your sleeping comfort: there are twin, double and queen-sized beds to fit all requirements. There is privacy for couples, or room for two singles. There is a window seat in the stairwell lobby, a powder room with a toilet on the same floor as the bedrooms.

Further Information
This is a wilderness home. At times we may ask your cooperation in conserving water. We recycle and create as little garbage as possible.
You may have allergies that we need to know about. It is important that you are in good health, able to manage stairs and get in and out of boats. Yvonne has her basic First Aid ticket, but emergency services are via floatplane or helicopter.

The Garden

The gifts of wilderness are a pristine landscape, unpolluted air and water, and a vast array of wildlife. Killer whales and dolphins, raccoons, otters and mink all reside near Sea Rose Studio. Herons, eagles and kingfishers fish the foreshore. The garden abounds with hummingbirds, nesting violet-green swallows, and many butterflies. |

The garden at Sea Rose Studio is a fragrant and bountiful place; a perfect place to relax, paint, or watch wildlife go by. Outdoor painting space is available in the garden, for those who are inspired by the smells, sounds and sights of the outdoors. |
